This is AMAZING! I don't know what I ever did without this!This ice pack is AWESOME!!! My Daughter is going through the age where she feels she need an ice pack for everything!!!! I usually use the "boo boo pack" or something similar but they are either left out and not frozen when I need them. They slip into the couch, or lost in her play room. My Neighbor took one of these in a similar brand out for her Son as he is the same age and I immediately had to have one.My Daughter loves this thing! She carries it around everywhere and it is so convenient. Stays cold for a super long time! So long, I have not been able to get an accurate time as I wind up dumping it before it is melted and store it away for more than likely the "next day". Ha ha.This has also help me with my migraines! So easy to load up and use. Then dump out and put upside down on a paper towel to make sure it dries out to store away. I would say I need more of these, but honestly, this baby does the trick and I don't know when I will need two ongoing ice packs. BUT if I do, I will most definitely re-order this! 5Cool.Small and the lid stays tight! I use an alcoholic mixture inside so that it will freeze but still be slushy and molds to my skin this way. Blue part of the bag does not get wet that much there s a little moisture on it but it doesn t get into my clothing the metal piece around the mouth does get quite wet and that is not my favorite thing the fact that the lid closes tight and that is it is completely sealed is a great benefit in order to make sure that my clothes do not get wet I just wrapped the ice bag in a light cotton towel and the cotton towel absorb any extra moisture that is produced. I like this size using it the way that I do with soft liquid however I would not want to suggest that you use actual ice cubes in a bag this size. If you re going to use ice cubes I suggest you go up to the larger size 9 inch. I think this is a good deal. I am happy I got one 5Don't waste your moneyI purchased this ice bag to replace the one that I had that was several years old and starting to leak. I keep these on hand "just in case". I haven't had reason to use this until now, several months after purchase. When I have used my other ones in the past, I put ice in the bag and add some cold water and I have never had any problem. I did the same with this one yesterday and it immediately started leaking through. First use, and it went in the trash. Also, it is a very small bag. 9" sounds big but it's really not. I do not recommend this brand of ice bag. 1perfect travel companionThis is a GODSEND! We travel a lot so it isn't feasible to use the gel version because most hotel rooms don't have freezers. This one is even better than my childhood version because of its size. 5Quality constructionBought this to throw in my lunch cooler that I travel with. I frequently take it on business trips to keep my lunch/dinner cool. I used to use freezer ice packs but many of the hotels I stay in do not have freezers for me to recre se my packs overnight. I found this solution and it works great to fill with ice in the morning to keep my lunch chilled throughout the day. Best part is that it doesn't leak a bit. Very happy with my purchase. 5Love These Ice Bags for Hot Flashes!!I ordered these in the 6 and 9 size. The 6 is more like 4 really, so I probably won t use that much. But I love the 9 and just ordered the 11 inch, as well. The 9 is plenty big for me though. I m taking a medication that causes severe hot flashes, and I ve bought a dozen different ice packs, but these are my favorite, hands down! I can t get anything else to freeze fast enough. I d go through all of them in one night, but not these!! They do NOT leak, so far anyway. And they hold a lot of ice, so they stay cold for many, many hours! I plan to carefully rise out with bleach water every so often, and use warm water and dish soap (Dawn) to keep clean. If they ever do wear out, I ll still buy more of these, because they re that great!! :) NOT sponsored! I am a true customer, and honest reviewer!! 5works well.I actually did not purchase this for the common use.I deliver for a living, and that often includes cold beverages. I have a cooler for transport of these, but don't want to have a bunch of ice melting. The plastic reusable ice packs work fine for a couple of hours, but I work all day, so once those have warmed up, I've got nothing.This solves both issues. It stays cold very well, it does not leak at all, and when the ice finally melts, I can simply refill it at one of the restaurants I pick up from.I'm confident that it would also be very effective as an ice pack for an injury or headache. The outer fabric has a pleasant texture, and the whole thing moves well. 5Smells terrible!When it arrived, this looked exactly like what I was hoping for. And the product works as described. The ice inside stays cold for a long time and I haven't had any trouble with leaking. However, even after weeks and now months of leaving it to "air out " there is still a horrible chemical plastic smell that is overwhelming. Very convenient for icing injuries or boo boos for the kids. Bag gets very cold, almost as cold as using a plain plastic ziploc bag but it does not sweat like a plastic bag would. The ice in the bag also stays in pieces and doesn't form into a huge ice ball which is a plus. I recently had surgery on my shoulder and got this to use and it works as expected. I have used it approximately 10 times so far with no leaks. As you can see from the picture I provided, the top is threaded so it screws onto the bag, no way it will leak with this lid type. Only issue I have is that once filled with ice the bag is approximately 7 inches in diameter (see photo). I believe the 9 inches advertised is the diameter off the bag when empty. So if you need to cover a bigger area I would recommend getting a larger size bag. Additionally, I have not used this bag with hot water, but I see no reason that it would not perform perfectly as a hot water bag as well. 5Not strong, developed problems in a monthThis was a good idea poorly executed. I wish it had a more robust lining. I owned it for little more than one month and used it perhaps a dozen times. A sharp ice cube poked through the fabric yesterday, soaking the towel I use to protect my skin from the cold. It has a tendency to "sweat" so it's damp to the touch all the time. Others have pointed out that this item takes a long time to dry out because of the folded design, so two days is realistic. An extremely unsatisfying purchase. Cheap, so perhaps one needs to think of it as disposable? 1
