  • Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savory grilled pancake consisting of a variety of ingredients in a flour-based batter; it is an example of konamono; the name is derived from the word okonomi, meaning how you like in English, and yaki, meaning cooked in English
  • Your order includes a full case of six (6) Okonomiyaki kits. Each of the six kits includes one (1) 4-ounce bag of flour and two (2) packets of Okonomiyaki sauce, 1.41 oz each. Each kit can make two (2) servings of okonomiyaki pancakes.
  • Otafuku's okonomiyaki flour is made with only the finest ingredients and is made without MSG, artificial colors, preservatives, saturated and trans fats
  • Okonomiyaki sauce is soy based and made with all vegan ingredients such as date juice, carrots, garlic, shiitake mushrooms, apples, vinegar, Japanese spices, and other savory ingredients. Okonomi sauce is a descendant of Worcestershire sauce. Still, it is far sweeter and less salty than its British ancestor and is made without high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, or distasteful preservatives.
  • Easy-to-follow okonomiyaki recipe can be found directly on the back of the kit. All you need to get started is some cabbage, eggs, scallions, and bacon to make authentic Japanese okonomiyaki pancakes at home.
