Does Not StickI have been a massage therapist for over 25 years and a certified kinesio taping practitioner for over 8 years. There was something drastically wrong with this box of Kinesio tape from this supplier. How can I charge for taping when the tape is falling off before the client leaves the session? I noticed the barcode on the bottom of the box was covered over with white tape. Seems suspicious to me, probably from a very old inventory. 1Best brand I've triedI use this for my knee/leg mostly, and have encouraged others to try it. I also used it on my wife when she was having problems with her foot and ankle. There are a few good videos out there that show how to apply the tape for various problems. This tape was recommended by my PT, and after trying a couple other brands, I found this one to be the best, last the longest, not roll up as bad, and buying in bulk really saves money. The other thing that I like about Kinesio tape is the lymphatic system help that it creates. After personal experience, talking with a few different PTs, and my lymphatic system massage therapist, I discovered that there is a move away from the days of cast-like wrapping of injuries. Also, for my particular injury, deep tissue massage right on the affected area was not possible, nor helpful. 5You need to let skin rest/air every couple of days at least 12 hrs. or more from skin rush.I used to use the original Kinesio tape I brought back from Japan which was recommended by a massage person there.I had stenosis of lumber for over a year then. It really helped me but after I ran out of it I couldn't find the same kind in the US.What I found on the market wasn't at all effective and peeled off right away.Needless to say I gave up hoping to replace it.Recently a friend recommended going on amzon to find it. I searched for Japanese product which is how I found this up-gradedversion of it. I'm so glad I got this product since after 2 back surgeries in 6years and sciatica was pretty bad all along and in needof yet another surgery most likely I can really tell if I'm not using this product it would be rather impossible to continue working.I highly recommend it to anyone who needs relief from sciatic problem caused as a result of back issues. 5Damaged roll of tapeThis is a pretty pricey roll of tape that we keep stocked at our clinic and we were invited to a 5,000 player tournament where we wanted to tape some of the athletes. The roll we received was old, or damaged because when we peeled it off of the back paper it was very rigid and ended up not sticking to any of the athletes. Super disappointed and we apologized to a lot of athletes. Would've returned but went through the roll. Careful with this vendor and check your product 1Definitely the Gold standardMy sister is a Physical Therapist and told me this was the best brand of KT she has used. I have great success using as designed but recently found a new use for it. My wife had a triple bypass and there was an infection in the breastbone incision so we use a silver high absorption pad to help heal it from the inside out. I use a "X" pattern without stretch to affix the bandage in place and the healing rate actually increased. I assume it is because the KT moves easily and is highly breathable. It keeps the proper pressure on the pad too. 5Must have!Kinesiotape is a GREAT product; buying it in this large roll is very cost-effective. I carry this tape with me all of the time; it is part of my first aid kit. When I am injured, I immediately apply the tape, along with ice; especially if I am concerned about bruising. I keep it available for friends, family and clients as it works so well to decrease pain and swelling. 5Good quality kinesiotapeI am a COTA ( certified occupational therapy Addis) and love this for wrist support and my left shoulder. I do lots of kettlebell exercises and if I feel I need this I will use it. I actually need it less now and still have a lot left. I use it for thumb joint/ and thumb taping too. What a positive difference this kinesiotape made. I educate my mom/ friends on use too and they also use this. 5Better than competitor for my useThis tape is far healthier and removable on your skin than several other competitors. I am using it daily while a knee issue is being treated with physical therapy (and prolotherapy/PRP) and it also is great on the related ankle tendonitis. Because of the length of time I am using it, I bought the large roll and cut to length. I find I don't need as long a piece, so it's economical. Be sure if you are cutting your own to use only what you need (and anchor the ends with no tension), cut a curve on the ends so it's less likely to peel off when you put clothing on. I have to also have to cut the length except for one inch or so to create a "y" pattern. The colors are fun, but it's a lot to buy a full big role of blue or pink if you don't want it standing out when barelegged (if that is a word!) 5Amazing product for many types of injuries if used correctlyDeveloped for Olympic injuries, it gently lifts the skin to encourage lymph flow. Highly recommend training before use as it can exacerbate a problem if not used correctly. The tape is never stretched (unless recommended by a professional, which is seldom.) The limb is stretched, then tape applied according to directions. There should be no pain more than slight discomfort for a minute or two. Longer than that, it has been misapplied. Remove it and seek professional help. I was trained for lymphedema. Have kept it under control for 12 years. Bought books and videos, and now use for sprains, etc. Just don't use it without training. Amazing product when used correctly! Highly recommend! 5Satisfied.I am a professional gardener who spends my days sweating in the dirt. Given that, I don't expect a lot in terms of the number of days I get out before having to change the tape. It sticks very well in my opinion, only coming loose in place that have a lot of friction from clothing or the movement I do all day long. I do wish the backing provided a ruler rather than some arbitrary markings, but not a big deal. It's called "red" which makes no sense because it is definitely hot pink. I watch YouTube video's for application instructions depending on where I need the tape. 5
