Instructions:
1. Clean the probe and probe repeatedly with detergent. Rinse with clean water and use directly without drying.
2. With the dog in a normal standing position, insert the probe upward at an angle to approximately the cervical opening.
Reference Standards:
For small dogs, insert 1/3 of the way (approximately 4 cm);
For medium dogs, insert 2/3 of the way (approximately 6-8 cm).
For large dogs, insert approximately 10 cm.
3. After insertion, hold the instrument at an upward angle and rotate it two times. Click the switch to display the data. Hold the switch still and click the switch again to read the second set of data.
(If the deviation is less than 100, use one of the readings as the judgment value. If the deviation is large, read a third set of readings and use the two closest readings as a reference.)
