2014 release from Gary Kelly AKA Johnny Yesterday. 'While recording the album, I watched a lot of old movies. The majority of which were horrors like Eyes Without a Face (1960) and Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975). Thrillers, where special effects are non-existent. Relying solely on suspense and a soundtrack, I tried to incorporate some of that into the recordings. So much so that, the album cover is a still from the latter of the two mentioned. I recorded the majority of the album at my home in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Using as many programs and instruments as I could get my hands on. Often experimenting with different techniques and ways of recording. Musical influences for the album include, Boards of Canada, Philip Glass, and William Basinski's the Disintegration Loops.'
