Has timerI have multiple disc herniations in my back (lumbar) and neck which have started to give problems. My neck and shoulder muscles especially so I decided that I needed another TENS, one to use on the lumbar and one on the neck. This is a more modern version to the analog Grafco that I was using. However, I prefer the analog dials since it's easier to change than the digital one. This also has a timer which the Grafco doesn't. It works and helps relieve pain which is what it is intended for.5but I am glad to have it for any new aches and pains ...I have been recovering from knee replacement and bought this on the advice of a nurse friend who uses the same item for relief from rheumatoid arthritis. I only used it once, and it seemed to work just as well as the ones they physical therapists use after a PT session. In my case, my recovery went well enough that I did not need to use it again, but I am glad to have it for any new aches and pains that show up4Terribly weak, the 100 mA edition means that it's made a small animal, likely for a rabbit.Having purchased two TENS 7000 2nd editions and thinking this one was the same, it's NOT. It's exceptionally weak and can barely be felt at it's highest level (8). When I tried to return it, I was just told (automated message) that it's not eligible for return but with no explanation why. So, buyer beware... DO NOT GET THIS 100mA UNIT! Look for TENS 7000 2nd edition and you will likely not be able to turn it past level 3 because it's so strong and effective.1Balego Tens MachineAfter suffering with back pain for several years and trying all sorts of remedies (including p/t, epidurals, multiple visits to a chiropractor and acupuncture) I decided to buy a Tens unit. After the first try, I was pain free for four hours. Four hours might not seem like a lot, but I can now go for a walk or shop without pain. For me, this is nothing short of a miracle. Amazon has several to choose from depending on your budget. The Balego Tens unit instructions are easy to follow. Talk to your health care provider before buying. If he/she agrees you have little to lose but some of your pain if only for a few hours.5This is great must read for tip!My fianc loves this. She said it s way better that the one the doctor gave her. Also side note should get rechargeable 9v lithium which I got as well. She was going through Duracell in a couple days. Then I got her the red extra power Duracell same thing a couple days. Now I m like this thing is expensive. So now I buy energizer lithium 9v one battery lasts a week. This is great in my head. Except now, I m doing the math this is still costing an arm and a leg. So I look up rechargeable 9v on Amazon. They popped up and I got them. Then my fianc said ouch cause she went to her normal setting and there was more power to use. That is all.5Top TENS unitI wanted an inexpensive but trust worthy TENS machine to test the product on my muscles and joints without having to buy a more expensive machine. Looks like I will not have to buy an more expensive TENS unit as this one suits the purpose intended very well. The improvement on my lower back shows a marked improvement in flexibility and movement. I get relief from plantar fasciitis as well. Product is recommended to anyone who seeks this kind of relief from pain and discomfort. Thank you.5Great for daily use and managing my lower back painWorks exactly as expected. I'm using this unit to manage my lower back pain. For about a year I'd been going to the chiropractor and they offered complimentary therapy with a similar (but way larger, professional/industrial) unit. This little unit offers the same benefits, but the bonus is instead of the 10 minute-session I'm allowed at each of my appointments, this one I can use for a longer period of time where it actually makes a noticeable difference. The dial goes up to 8, but I can't go further than 3 or it's unbearable, so this little machine really packs a punch. The 4 electrodes that were supplied have lasted me at least 10 uses now and they haven't lost too much stickiness yet. As long as you wash the application area and dry it off really well before using them, the electrodes will last you quite a while. I showed the unit to my chiropractor and he liked it. Told me I could use it every day with no issue.5... battery instead of 4 AAA batteries and I'm very happy I bought this one it is great I use ...I looked at several others before I bought this one and then I read a review on one of the other ones and he said this one was more powerful because of the 9 volt battery instead of 4 AAA batteries and I'm very happy I bought this one it is great I use it every day .5Excellent TensHappy to find this Tens machine. I like to use the larger, figure 8 shaped pads (don't know how else to describe them). My older Tens would work only with the smaller pads. This one can handle the big ones. I also like that it makes a sound when the time is up to remind me to shut it off.5ElectrodesI only have been using for a couple weeks, but seems to be working well. I am mostly writing to say that after a while the adhesive on the electrodes starts loosing it's stickiness. Instead of shelling out $18 repeatedly for replacement electrodes, buy a couple of rolls of medical tape. It's much cheaper & peals right off. You can keep using your original electrodes for a long time!4
